SYMPOSIUM: CNBOT-MACEIÓ, AL, 2019
The Symposium “Evolução da flora dos campos rupestres brasileiros” was organized by Dr. Thaís Vasconcelos in the Brazilian Botanical Meeting on October 22th. Suzana presented the main results from the Patricia’s master thesis in the talking entitled “Como padrões e processos macroevolutivos podem influenciar a persistência da flora dos campos rupestres diante das mudanças climáticas atuais?”

Seminários do PPG em Bioinformática
Suzana delivered a talking in the seminar of the Bioinformatics graduate course at the ICB-UFMG (Belo Horizonte, MG). The talking “Integrative Biogeography and Evolutionary studies focusing on the campos rupestres flora” occurred on Sept 27th 2020.
ERBOT 2019-DIAMANTINA, MG & FIELDWORK TRIP
Suzana Alcantara and Rafael Trevisan attended a regional botanical meeting at Diamantina-MG-Brazil from Sept 25th to 27th 2020. Rafael also delivered a short course on Cyperaceae taxonomy & identification.
Rafael and Luciana followed from there to an expedition for botanical collection in MG state the week after the meeting.
XX SEMANA DA BIOLOGIA-UFSC
2nd Sept 2019: Mariana attended with a poster about her scientific internship project on the genus Hyppeastrum in Santa Catariana. She also got the Best Poster - Botany award!!!

Suzana, Patricia, Luciana & Rafael Trevisan (and several collaborators) attended to the Monocots VI in Natal (RN), from 7th to 12th Oct 2018.

19th Aug 2018: Suzana attended to the event in Campinas, SP, taking part in the symposium organized by Ana Carolina Carnaval about the projects granted by Instituto Serrapilheira with focus on climate change & biodiversity, with the talking “Adaptações biológicas às mudanças climáticas: Compreender o passado para preparar o futuro.”
